MARQ Employee Privacy Policy
MARQ Employee is the staff app of MARQ Indore, operated by Taikun Entertainment ("MARQ", "we", "us"). It is used only by MARQ staff (captains, stewards, cashiers, managers) to take orders, send kitchen tickets, check guests in and collect bills. It works with the MARQ POS system that runs at the venue. This policy explains what the app handles and why.
1. Data the app handles
About staff using the app
- Sign-in details: your staff code and password. The password is sent only to the venue's MARQ POS to sign you in and is never stored on the phone; the phone keeps only a session token and your last-used staff code in the device's secure storage.
- Work activity: the orders, kitchen tickets, check-ins, payments and other actions you perform, recorded in the MARQ POS with your name for accountability and audit.
- Device details: a random device ID created by the app, and a push-notification token so the POS can alert you about new orders and table calls.
About guests (processed for the venue)
- While serving guests, the app shows and records guest names, mobile numbers, bookings, orders and bills held in the MARQ POS.
- Payment photos: when a guest pays at the table by UPI, staff may take a photo of the payment confirmation so a cashier can verify it.
All of this data is stored in the venue's MARQ POS, not on the phone.
2. App permissions

The app does not read your contacts, location, microphone, call logs, SMS or photo gallery.
3. How the data is used
- To sign staff in and apply the permissions of their role.
- To run service: orders, kitchen tickets, billing, check-in and payments.
- To keep an audit trail of who did what, to prevent fraud and errors.
- To send work notifications to staff phones.
4. Where the data goes
We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising. The app talks to the venue's MARQ POS directly on the venue network. When Remote Access is on, the connection runs over an encrypted tunnel provided by Cloudflare, and the app looks up the POS address on www.marqindore.in using the venue's Remote Code (no personal data is sent in that lookup). Push notifications are delivered through Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and app updates through Expo.
5. Security
Sign-in requires each staff member's own code and password, with lockout after repeated wrong attempts. Remote use is allowed only for staff whose role has remote access, every remote sign-in is logged, and management can turn remote access off at any time. Internet connections are encrypted (HTTPS).
6. Retention and deletion
Staff accounts and work records are kept in the MARQ POS for as long as required for the venue's operations, accounting and legal obligations. When a staff member leaves, management deactivates the account. To ask about or request deletion of your personal data, contact us below. Signing out of the app removes your session from the phone; uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the device.
7. Children
The app is used only by adult employees of the venue.
